February Game Night

Last Saturday night we had a game night at church. We had three huge teams and we played a few different games to see which team would come out on top. In the first game we had to carry all the members of our team, except the last two, across the court on boards. I took a turn helping carry a couple people on boards, and I have to say it's harder than it looks.
In another contest two people from each team volunteered for an eating contest. Each pair had a bag of snacks they had to each through, with points gained for the pair who finished first and for each item eaten. Everyone had brought a
snack to contribute to the game, and the wierdest one was a raw egg. The guy who got that shook it up and poured it over some corn chips and ate it that way. That's him in the picture. Now that's dedication.
My favorite contest was Find the Beans. There were a bunch of balloons filled with water or flour and each one had a bean in it. Some of the team members wore hats with pins sticking out of them. The team had to throw the balloons at the people with the hats on and then some of the team members had to look for the beans. And beans from all the team's balloons were fair game, so we were all scrambling all over the place, looking for beans. It was hilarious.
Overall, it was a great time of fun and fellowship. I think it was the most participation we've had in a game night so far. Sometimes it's mostly the kids who play but this time almost everyone was in on the games, and the enthusiasm was high.

Dang, that sounds like a good time!
I'm totally stealing those game ideas for youth group.
