Carnaval

Last Tuesday we had a field trip for the primary grades, and since it was Fat Tuesday we let them do "Carnaval," which is where they run around cracking confetti filled eggs on people's heads and throwing "pica pica," (translation: itchy itchy) on each other. It was amazing how long we spent just doing that, and that no one got hurt! We were probably running around like crazy for a good half hour or more. We also played games and the mime group performed for the children. I spent a lot of time with the Prepa class, which is quickly becoming my favorite class. They are so cute and they had a good time cracking eggs on my head.

Well drilling is happening!!!!!

Hey everyone! Just thought I'd make a quick post to let you know that they are finally drilling the well again. It has been over a year since we started the process of trying to get a new well on the property, so it is really exciting that they have been drilling for a couple days now. They say it should take two weeks to finish it.

In other news, I'm an aunt now!!!! My nephew was born last Thursday. Welcome to the world, Joel Xavier!!!! Mike, I expect to see some pictures soon so I can brag about how cute he is.

Last weekend I went to Antigua for the Intermissions conference, which is for missionaries in Guatemala. It was a great time of fellowshipping. The theme was Refresh, Renew and Revive. The speaker was H.B. London, who works with Focus on the Family. He was a great speaker, the Lord really used him to speak to my heart. And it was fun to stay in a nice hotel and hang out in Antigua. Above is a picture of us Inn Ministries staff at Intermissions.
