Carnaval

Last Tuesday we had a field trip for the primary grades, and since it was Fat Tuesday we let them do "Carnaval," which is where they run around cracking confetti filled eggs on people's heads and throwing "pica pica," (translation: itchy itchy) on each other. It was amazing how long we spent just doing that, and that no one got hurt! We were probably running around like crazy for a good half hour or more. We also played games and the mime group performed for the children. I spent a lot of time with the Prepa class, which is quickly becoming my favorite class. They are so cute and they had a good time cracking eggs on my head.
